Learning the basics of why computers work is extremely useful for making the most of coding agents; it will make you a better “prompter.” Learning the foundational aspects of programming languages similarly seems important. Understand how to think computationally now matters more. Understand the specific syntax of a particular programming language now matters less. This same lesson may well apply in other disciplines. It may therefore be possible to be a renaissance man once again.
